COLDWATER
Legacy: Great Lakes Coastal

Great Lakes Coastal began as a small expression of love for the place that made it possible: the Great Lakes, their shorelines, old ports, long summer days, and the particular character of the north country. Active from 2021 to 2025, it became a home for small-run apparel, collaborations with Door County Brewing Co. and Copper Harbor Trails Club, and visual stories rooted in the inland seas.It explored the bright season of the Fresh Coast: cherry country, sailing harbors, beach days, and the long summer light of places like Sleeping Bear Dunes. Great Lakes Coastal is now retired, but its work remains part of the record.Coldwater looks at the same region from the other side of the year. Empty beaches in January, the wind and ice after the tourists have gone, wreck divers in deep freshwater, surfers in winter, working vessels, and the people who remain close to the lakes in every season. It carries the same attachment forward in a quieter, more archival form: an ongoing record of vessels, shipwrecks, cold water, and the enduring culture of the Great Lakes. A limited number of Great Lakes Coastal legacy products remain available by inquiry.
